The 2-in-1 Tablet 10 PC is oriented towards business users and comes with a detachable slate screen and keyboard base. Lenovo has clearly gone for a functional design, which more fits with enterprise use. However, we think it is certainly time where slick designs were used for business customers. This is 2018, organizations want cool aesthetics too. We’re not talking about the bezels either, which are admittedly huge. Those meaty dark strips make sense for businesses who will be passing the tablet section around like hot candies. As the name suggests, the Tablet 10 sports a 10-inch screen. The device is powered by Intel Celeron N Series processions and comes with fingerprint reading technology and Trusted Platform Module for business-class protection. As this is part of the ThinkPad range, it comes with an integrated rechargeable pen. Lenovo has yet to release pricing on the Tablet 10.
ThinkPad Revamp
Also ahead of CES 2018, the Chinese company has announced an updated ThinkPad range. The new ThinkPad X, T, and L models have been upgraded to support 8th generation Intel Core processors. Lenovo has also tweaked the designs to add slimmer and lighter chassis. The new X280 seems a sweet spot device with its 12.5-inch screen, 20 percent lighter weight and 15 percent thinner design. Lenovo has added other upgrades depending on model. Again as an example, the X280 has quick charging which juices it to 80% within an hour. The ThinkPad Yoga X360 gets an Active Pen and full Windows Hello support.
Prices start at $609 for the L380, while you’re looking at $989 for a base T480, $999 for an X280 and $1,459 for the Yoga X380. Of course, the company will have more to say about all these products at CES next week. Additionally, Lenovo will also get to fully showcase its first Windows 10 on ARM laptop, which was announced briefly last month.
