Now, a leak has shown the Action Center, Taskbar, and Launcher for Windows 10X. Interestingly, the Start menu experience will be different to the standard Windows 10 platform. Starting with the Windows 10X Launcher, the new experience will replace the Start menu. It will allow users to quickly jump to apps and perform searches. Included on the Launcher will be:

Search bar – Microsoft will integrate its revamped Windows 10 search experience into the Launcher. It provides fast results into apps, folders, and web. Recommended – The Windows 10X Launcher will provide a grid section of regularly used apps and websites. Apps and Websites – In the main Launcher window, apps, games, and websites can be placed for quick access by the user.

Taskbar and Quick Settings

Looking at other aspects of Windows 10X that leaked this week, the Taskbar and Quick Settings will remain largely the same. For reference, Quick Settings is an in-development solution that Microsoft could use to replace the Action Center. In terms of the Taskbar, users will see a familiar experience, including alignment options and the ability to place apps in the bar. As for Quick Settings, the new tool could include quick customization tools, the best settings available at a glance, and the device status information.
