Designer was found by WalkingCat, and there is also an accompanying URL (designer.microsoft.com). So, if you want to see for yourself, you can right there now. Although, you will need a Microsoft Account to get in. Unfortunately, it is not entirely clear what the Designer app is. You may remember Microsoft has used the new Designer before, specifically for a feature in PowerPoint. Microsoft has maintained the feature since then with regular updates. It is unclear if the new app is related to this feature. If it is, it could be Microsoft bringing tools from Designer in PowerPoint to the wider Window 11 ecosystem. Alternatively, the new Designer app may be something new entirely.

Windows 11 22H2

Earlier in the month, Microsoft started splitting Insider Windows 11 previews, suggesting the first major update for the platform is nearing completion. Microsoft has now officially split Windows 11 test releases between the Dev and Beta channels. What this means is Windows Insiders can no longer move between channels. Although, Microsoft is giving users 10 days to roll back to the Beta channel if they accidentally install the more unstable Dev channel update. Tip of the day: After years of hefting a laptop around, you inevitably build up a menagerie of Wi-Fi networks. For the most part, they’ll sit on your PC, hardly used, but at times a change in configuration can make it difficult to connect to a network your computer already remembers. At this point, it can be beneficial to make Windows forget a Wi-Fi network and delete its network profile.
