On the iOS side of things, there have been some design changes. Microsoft says it has “changed the book of Suggestions in My Day and revamped the sections”. It’ll also delete due date text created using smart dates automatically. Previously, typing ‘tomorrow’ in a task made it persistent. As it scales back Cortana, Microsoft is also enhancing Siri’s integrations. It has improved her shortcuts experience, added Siri donations, and improved localization. When it comes to fixes, Japanese users can now contact support from the app again, and voiceover announces available actions on uploaded files.

Microsoft To-Do for Android 2.8

Android’s changes are a little less significant. The major one is the ability to turn off notifications for shared lists directly in To-Do settings.  This should prevent spam in particularly busy groups. There’s also a feature to aid users migrating from Wunderlist, which will finally sunset in May. Microsoft is aiding victims of its acquisition with the ability to highlighted imported lists that were shared and prompt you to reshare them in To-Do. That should prevent the headache of doing it all manually, at least. Finally, To-Do for Android has seen several unspecified improvements to animations and various bug fixes. It should feel smoother and generally more polished, which is always nice to see. You can grab To-Do 2.8 from the Google Play Store or Apple’s App Store to take advantage of the new features.
